Grandma's food cooked by real grandmothers. Mamone was launched last summer by Baptiste Brot and Fabien Djennaoui in downtown Aix. The concept: simmered dishes to take away or to be delivered, prepared every day in a space open to the street where their appetizing scents spread. They are made by women who master the recipes of yesteryear, those who cooked for a long time to exhale the flavors and ensure the melting. Provençal-style lamb confit, beef bourguignon, blanquette de veau...: everything is prepared with love and fresh products!

Fresh and creative cuisine. This pleasant café-restaurant on the tree-lined Place des Logis is the domain of Patrick, who was the director of a brewery in Aix-en-Provence for a long time. The chef concocts a short menu that he renews entirely every three months, consisting of four starters, four main courses and four desserts. A dish of the day completes the menu. The sweets from the oldest calissons factory in Aix. The Brémond grocery store was founded in 1830 on Cours Mirabeau, before moving in 1986 to Rue d'Italie where the shop dedicated to sweets is still located. The range of confectionery — calissons, nougats, candied fruits, crunchy fruits and other delicacies from the South — is now combined under the historic brand “Brémond Fils”, which already covered the institution's sweets at the beginning. Voir une fabrication artisanale de calissons derrière les grandes verrières des Halles 1889. Leur nom ramène à la date de la fondation de la confiserie d’Entrecasteaux, l’une des plus anciennes calissonneries de la région ! Quatre générations s'y sont succédé avant que la maison ne soit reprise par la famille Evans en 2015. La fabrique est aujourd’hui installée à Éguilles, au cœur des Halles 1889, un espace de 900 m2 tout en transparence où se côtoient comptoirs de restauration et commerces de bouche.

The catering range and the cheese department are in line.

The typicity of Provençal wines. This 51 ha estate was created in 2001 by two families of winemakers on the outskirts of Rognes. Nearly twenty-five years later, Naïs wines have acquired a solid reputation. On these sandy-silty and clay-limestone lands, they are produced in all three colors with grape varieties typical of the region. The modernity of the cellar guarantees optimal vinification while respecting the grapes.

Traditional wines and olive oils. On the sunny terraces and hillsides of southern Luberon, this vineyard was founded in 1998 by Louis-Michel Brémond, agricultural engineer and oenologist, within the family farm property. The vines, managed with respect for the natural environment and cultivated organically since 2008, produce wines of great finesse that fully express the land. On the oil side, 600 olive trees, mainly of the Aglandau variety, share with the vineyard the sweetness of this enchanting site.

The quality of wines and practices of an organic estate since 1996. This human-sized property has 36 ha of vines. No less than 12 typical southern grape varieties are grown there, including rarities such as Counoise. The wines, produced in all three colors in blends or as a single varietal, are aged in stainless steel tanks, barrels, amphorae or concrete eggs, sometimes without added sulphites. A lot of personality and typicity for the whole range!

Consistent quality. In this family estate created in 2005 on the heights of Rognes, between the Trévaresse and Costes chains, independent winemakers Christian and Mireille Bastard work their vines in a traditional and environmentally friendly way. Vinification is done in a modern cellar, in stainless steel tanks or oak barrels depending on the vintage. Fine and elegant rosés, lively and aromatic whites, powerful and silky reds: sure values that express their land.
