When Yann Solana, captain of the Le Quillé ice cream shops, embarks on a new adventure, he gives his all: cooks trained at a school of master crepe makers in Rennes, partnerships with local producers and artisans, creative and generous fillings, both for savory pancakes made with local buckwheat and for sweet wheat pancakes. The place is enchanting: an intimate bubble between old stones, the shade of the mulberry trees and a view of the lagoon countryside. Nice terrace sheltered from the wind.

Specializing in regional local dishes, the chef prepares gourmet French cuisine made at home. Le savoir-faire Après sept années passées au côté de Ludovic Turac chez Une Table au Sud, dont trois en tant que sous-chef, et un passage éclair à Top Chef 2019, Fanny (surnommée Favouille depuis toujours) ouvre en octobre 2020 son propre restaurant. Elle fait appel aux producteurs locaux pour nous concocter le meilleur : Marco le pêcheur pour le poulpe, les oursins ou les daurades, Cécile pour les légumes, viandes label rouge… Une cuisine du marché savoureuse à l’ardoise.

L’ambiance La convivialité, le rendez-vous des amis, un accueil comme à la maison... c’est le fief d’habitués qui ne s’y trompent pas.

The versatility of a green and sunny place. In a renovated 18th century Provençal country house^E century, in the heart of the Aix countryside and 10 minutes from the city center, Gaodina offers moments of pleasure and sharing from 7 am to midnight. The restaurant, which plays the gourmet brasserie card at noon and the chef's den at night, comes alive to the rhythm of Naïm Chhiba's eco-responsible and Mediterranean cuisine. The products are mostly organic and the menu changes at least every week.

Délicieuse cuisine à base de produits frais dont le fameux burger atomique (buns brioché / bœuf charolais / confiture de saison / oignons confits / tomate cornichons / pancetta / tomme de brebis-chèvre / œuf & frites maison) ou le plateau I Piattini, composé de fromage et de charcuterie fermière (porc « nustrale », né et élevé en Corse) parfait pour l'apéro ! Les mômes ne sont pas en reste, avec un menu gourmand rien que pour eux : on n'en attendait pas moins de ce chaleureux restaurant familial inspiré par Léon, fruit d'un amour entre la Corse et la Provence.

An intimate and gourmet urban café. The word cáscara refers to both the dried bark of the coffee cherry and the shell in Spanish, a nice metaphor for the cocooning spirit of the place. Sonia offers specialty coffee, tea, matcha latte and other hot drinks, or cold depending on the season (don't miss her summery homemade lemonade). For hunger, she concocts travel pastries with a vegan option (cakes, thyme madeleines, cookies...) and fruity or regressive smoothies (we love the banana, dark chocolate and peanut butter recipe). Léoube magic. Château Léoube, a prestigious seaside wine estate, offers organic wine tastings throughout the year. In fine weather, the experience extends in the Café Léoube located on Pellegrin Beach around an authentic southern table. On the menu, the estate's other productions are queen: fruits and vegetables from the orchard and vegetable garden, including extra virgin olive oil.

In town, enjoy Italian ice cream from a craftsman from the Pays d'Aix. For the Casalini brothers, gluttony is a family story that began in 1962 when Giorgio opened an ice cream bar in Tuscany. His sons, Antonio and Luca, continued the adventure abroad and then in France, before launching Maison Casalini in Fuveau. A branch opened in Aix in 2024, just in front of the Four Aixois. Boulegon Street now has the taste of Italy!

The quality and conviviality of a village cheese factory. This store, opened in summer 2023 in the heart of old Pélissanne, was quickly adopted by local delicatessens, combining an ice cream shop and a cheese bar. Delphine Begon, trained at the prestigious Mons company, offers a vast and specialized assortment that includes, again, a range of Meilleur Ouvrier de France Hervé Mons. Nice terrace and a warm welcome as a bonus!

Artisanal caramels... with olive oil! This is excellent news for the people of Aix: a Caramelerie store has opened in the historic center, with its assortment of caramels and sweets made in Mane, in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. In the Mediterranean region, olive oil - organic and Camargue - is used to give caramels their tenderness. A project as beautiful as it is good, which also ticks the boxes for a sustainable treat.

Voir une fabrication artisanale de calissons derrière les grandes verrières des Halles 1889. Leur nom ramène à la date de la fondation de la confiserie d’Entrecasteaux, l’une des plus anciennes calissonneries de la région ! Quatre générations s'y sont succédé avant que la maison ne soit reprise par la famille Evans en 2015. La fabrique est aujourd’hui installée à Éguilles, au cœur des Halles 1889, un espace de 900 m2 tout en transparence où se côtoient comptoirs de restauration et commerces de bouche.

The art of roasting. Mathieu Taborcia is certainly a chocolate maker — and what a chocolate maker! —, but also a roaster. His shop, established in the village of Lambesc, is one of the few in Provence to offer bean-to-bar chocolate, an expression that means “from the bean to the bar”: he works with different origins of cocoa whose beans he roasts himself. However, if aromas begin to form during fermentation, it is this stage that gives chocolate its characteristic taste. The craftsman's paw does the rest.

Artisanal and healthy pralines. Remembering the darlings of the beaches of yesteryear that Arnaud and Céline created Monsieur Praline. Their multiple creations combine gluttony and health: significantly reduced sugar levels (only 33% of unrefined brown cane sugar) and various nuts, all without additives. After Cassis and Aix-en-Provence, it's time for Saint-Rémy, the city of Nostradamus, who we forget was one of the first authors to write about confectionery!

The quality approach from A to Z. This house, created in 2013, has become an institution in the Aix bakery industry thanks to word of mouth. Natural sourdough breads, tasty, digestible and of excellent nutritional quality, are made with organic flours without additives or enhancers. The founders, Jeff Boivin and Thomas Teffri-Chambelland, are committed to maintaining solid local agriculture through a short supply chain: they have established, beforehand, a lasting and trusting relationship with their producers and suppliers.

The quality of oils from a local mill. Housed in an 18th century building^E century and modernized in 2024, this increasingly successful mill highlights an exceptional olive-growing region. Five gold medals and one silver in the 2025 South Region competition! The “black fruit” is particularly famous. To be purchased on site or online: oils, by-products and regional dishes. 100% homemade chocolates and pastries. Rosa Chocolatier opened its doors in Pélissanne at the end of June 2024, but its founder has been exploring the world of sweets for nearly 25 years. Originally from Bastia, like his mother Rosa who gave his name to the brand, he worked in France and England before settling in Provence. His only credo: pleasure! Chocolate is at the top of the list, accompanied by an appetizing array of pastries, cookies and other delicacies.

An immersion in the Provençal region in the heart of the village of Lambesc. In this 17th century post house^E century renovated into a wine cellar, the discovery of the estate's organic wines and olive oils, which has been managed for five generations by the Audibert family, takes place in a spirit of sharing and conviviality: free tasting all year round, visit the winery every day at 15:00 (15€), seafood tasting from the Étang de Thau, tasting of seafood from the Étang de Thau on Saturdays from September to May from 10 am, workshop pairing fine wines and exceptional chocolates from the Mathieu Thau chocolate factory Aborcia (€50), etc.

The spirit of Les Baux. This domain in the Alpilles, which extends over 300 hectares, including 58 hectares of vineyards and 28 of olive trees, has been run by the same family for four generations. Caroline Missoffe and Anne Poniatowski, great-granddaughters of the founder, produce organic wines of excellence in all three colors, especially great reds. The vines, regularly swept by the Mistral, benefit from a microclimate and a soil favorable to agronomic and aromatic balances. The estate was mentioned by Nostradamus, painted by Van Gogh and mentioned by Simone de Beauvoir!

La passion du propriétaire et du maître de chai En 2003, Henri Doglione tombe amoureux du lieu et y crée un domaine ex nihilo pour réaliser un rêve d'enfant : produire du vin ! Bâtisses, vignes et oliviers apparaissent dans la rocaille et les garrigues quelques années plus tard, avec, dès le début, la complicité du vigneron Dominique Soriano.

La démarche 100 % bio Dans ce petit domaine établi à Venelles, la production du raisin et la vinification se font en bio depuis la création. Les récoltes sont manuelles pour sélectionner les meilleurs fruits.

The land on the stone side. On these heights of the AOP Côtes de Provence Sainte-Victoire, the view is breathtaking, with the Cezannian mountain, Mont Aurélien, the Cengle bar and Sainte-Baume within sight. The estate extends over 80 ha, including 47 of vines cultivated biodynamically since 2012, in ideal geological and climatic conditions. Its particularity: it houses one of the most beautiful museums dedicated to the arts and crafts of wine, exhibiting 3,000 pieces on an area of 1,300 m²². Les sélections pointues d’un caviste indépendant. La Cave du Vigneron est une affaire de famille : au début des années 2000, le sommelier Stéphane Jaen, formé à l’Université du Vin de Suze-la-Rousse, a repris les rênes de l’enseigne créée par son père en 1978. Celle-ci compte aujourd’hui trois adresses à Aix et alentour. Des cavistes diplômés sont là pour servir de guides dans les 2 000 références de vins, champagnes, spiritueux ou bières proposés en boutique.

The elegance of the wines and the setting of this place steeped in history since 1118! Long closed to the public, this 12th century wine estate^E Century has come back to life ever since
the arrival in 2021 of Jean-Marc and Wendy Gobbi, the new owners. The castle is a former priory surrounded by 13 ha of vineyards and olive trees
and lavenders. Between natural splendors, bare stones, Romanesque chapel and paved courtyard, the site has a crazy charm! The vineyard, located in the Luberon Regional Natural Park, has regained its letters of nobility: racy and fruity reds, fine and long-lasting rosés, floral and acidic whites.

Magnifiquement situé, le domaine, avec ses 12 hectares de vignes face à la montagne Sainte-Victoire, réunit toutes les conditions idéales à la création d’un vin basé sur la minéralité et la fraîcheur. Walter Butler, le propriétaire, passionné d'œnologie et de gastronomie, a pour principe de faire des vins au plus proche de la nature, reflétant la beauté du terroir de la Brillane. Carine et Roland Coupat ont construit leur propre moulin à huile d'olive éco-responsable à Cadenet. Équipé des dernières technologies oléicoles modernes, il a pour vocation de promouvoir la qualité des huiles et des terroirs oléicoles du Luberon. L'exploitation est certifiée en agriculture biologique. L’influence du terroir, la variété et la maturité des olives ainsi que la méthode d’extraction placent l'huile emblématique du moulin dans la palette gustative de type “fruité vert” ou goût intense.
