When Yann Solana, captain of the Le Quillé ice cream shops, embarks on a new adventure, he gives his all: cooks trained at a school of master crepe makers in Rennes, partnerships with local producers and artisans, creative and generous fillings, both for savory pancakes made with local buckwheat and for sweet wheat pancakes. La dolce vita between Provence and Italy. The restaurant is in the hands of chef Nicolas Pierantoni, a native of the country who invents a refined, generous and convivial menu day after day. Léoube magic. Château Léoube, a prestigious seaside wine estate, offers organic wine tastings throughout the year. In fine weather, the experience extends in the Café Léoube located on Pellegrin Beach around an authentic southern table. On the menu, the estate's other productions are queen: fruits and vegetables from the orchard and vegetable garden, including extra virgin olive oil.

Enjoy a gourmet moment away from the urban hustle and bustle, in an enchanting place located in the heart of the historic center. L'Orangerie is the restaurant at the Aquabella Hotel & Spa with which it shares a remarkable setting, between the remains of the medieval walls and a Mediterranean garden that invites you to relax. In this bubble of tranquility, chef Jean-Christophe Ugo offers bistronomic cuisine with southern inspirations, essentially made with local and seasonal products.

The corner of paradise facing Sainte-Victoire. This former hunting lodge is located 1 km from the Bimont dam and 5 km from Picasso Castle. In terms of cuisine, it is a three-in-one establishment: a restaurant with a menu or a slate menu that changes every week, a turnkey reception area including a banquet menu and catering service. In all three cases, the cuisine is based on fresh and seasonal products, worked to highlight Provençal traditions with creativity.

The quality and conviviality of a village cheese factory. This store, opened in summer 2023 in the heart of old Pélissanne, was quickly adopted by local delicatessens, combining an ice cream shop and a cheese bar. Delphine Begon, trained at the prestigious Mons company, offers a vast and specialized assortment that includes, again, a range of Meilleur Ouvrier de France Hervé Mons. Nice terrace and a warm welcome as a bonus!

Calissons have a remarkable taste and finesse. Founded in 1874 by a Swiss confectioner, Maison Parli, a venerable institution in Aix, celebrates its 151st anniversary^E year in 2025. Her secret? Full control of the calissons manufacturing cycle, which begins with the confection of the fruits, on site, using ancestral methods. The dough, rich in almonds and sweetened with fruit syrup, is ground with ancient granite rolls that preserve the texture of the ingredients. In 2022, 3,000 almond trees were planted on 10 ha cultivated organically in Ventabren, reflecting the company's desire for permanent improvement.

Artisanal and healthy pralines. Remembering the darlings of the beaches of yesteryear that Arnaud and Céline created Monsieur Praline. Their multiple creations combine gluttony and health: significantly reduced sugar levels (only 33% of unrefined brown cane sugar) and various nuts, all without additives. After Cassis and Aix-en-Provence, it's time for Saint-Rémy, the city of Nostradamus, who we forget was one of the first authors to write about confectionery!

The constant quality of a local store. At this family vegetable store, opened in 1964, fruits and vegetables are ultra-fresh and often grown on nearby farms: strawberries from Grans, melons from Camargue, tomatoes from Pélissanne, grapes from Lambesc, salads from Alleins... The creamer-cheese factory and the delicatessen, with their artisanal and carefully selected products, are just as good. Do not miss the compositions made on site such as aperitif platters, fruit in a basket, salads or kebabs, cut raw vegetables or the perfect basket of 13 desserts at the end of the year.

The authenticity of an institution founded in 1870 and now orchestrated by Margaux Touzet, who embodies the 5^E generation of the Béchard family. In this emblematic pastry shop in Aix-en-Provence, no trompe-l'oeil desserts, austere decorations or light pastries: calissons, chocolates, cakes, pastries and other sweets, presented in the attractive windows of a colorful candy box, have the flavor of the delicacies of yesteryear. Everything is made on site, on the famous Cours Mirabeau, by experienced pastry chefs and confectioners.

Atelier de fumage artisanal dans le Luberon, la Saumoneraie respecte la grande tradition du saumon fumé depuis 1998. Chaque saumon est traité individuellement, sélectionné frais, salé à sec au sel de Guérande  « nature & progrès », et délicatement fumé à froid au bois de hêtre, sans additif ni conservateur. Le résultat est un grand saumon, au goût inimitable. The sweets from the oldest calissons factory in Aix. The Brémond grocery store was founded in 1830 on Cours Mirabeau, before moving in 1986 to Rue d'Italie where the shop dedicated to sweets is still located. The range of confectionery — calissons, nougats, candied fruits, crunchy fruits and other delicacies from the South — is now combined under the historic brand “Brémond Fils”, which already covered the institution's sweets at the beginning. A second shop in Aix, rue Bédarrides, hosts a workshop for making cookies and the whole range of savory products.

Les friandises de la plus ancienne fabrique de calissons d’Aix. L’épicerie Brémond fut fondée en 1830 sur le cours Mirabeau, avant de déménager en 1986 rue d’Italie où la boutique dédiée au sucré se trouve toujours. La gamme de confiseries – calissons, nougats, fruits confits, croquants et autres délices du Midi – est aujourd’hui réunie sous la marque historique « Brémond Fils », qui chapeautait déjà les douceurs de l’institution à ses débuts. Une seconde boutique aixoise, rue Bédarrides, accueille un atelier de confection de biscuits et toute la gamme salée.

Eat the best that Italy has to offer. Sibille and her husband Frédéric launch Casa di Pomona — in reference to the Roman goddess of fruits — a tasty family adventure located in the heart of the charming shops of La Bastide. These two epicureans source the glories of transalpine gastronomy directly from the boot, not to mention a selection of decorative items. Propriété de la famille Rougier depuis 1830 à Meyreuil, le Château Simone, par la notoriété historique de ses vins, s'inscrit parmi les joyaux du terroir provençal. Le vignoble couvre une cinquantaine d’hectares majoritairement répartis sur des coteaux face à la célèbre montagne Sainte Victoire et bénéficiant d’un micro climat particulier. L’appellation concerne des vins blancs rouges et rosés dont les cépages principaux sont clairette, grenache blanc, bourboulenc grenache, mourvèdre, cinsault... La renommée du Domaine l'a porté sur les plus célèbres tables et sur celles des plus fins gourmets !

The quality of wines and practices of an organic estate since 1996. This human-sized property has 36 ha of vines. No less than 12 typical southern grape varieties are grown there, including rarities such as Counoise. The wines, produced in all three colors in blends or as a single varietal, are aged in stainless steel tanks, barrels, amphorae or concrete eggs, sometimes without added sulphites. A lot of personality and typicity for the whole range!

The land. 12 km from Aix-en-Provence, the estate extends over 103 ha of vineyards backed by the Cengle plateau, under Sainte-Victoire. Produced organically since 2014, they thrive on clay-sandy soil tinged with red, bauxite obliges, which favors the aromatic expression of wines. In particular, there are fresh and aromatic Côtes de Provence in white, rosé and red, and a particularly elegant and mineral Côtes de Provence Sainte-Victoire rosé.

Consistent quality. In this family estate created in 2005 on the heights of Rognes, between the Trévaresse and Costes chains, independent winemakers Christian and Mireille Bastard work their vines in a traditional and environmentally friendly way. Vinification is done in a modern cellar, in stainless steel tanks or oak barrels depending on the vintage. Fine and elegant rosés, lively and aromatic whites, powerful and silky reds: sure values that express their land.

Situé à Lourmarin, le vignoble de Château Fontvert, exploité par une seule et même famille huguenote depuis plus de trois siècles, a su conserver les exigences et le goût du travail soigné de sa famille fondatrice. Orienté vers la production d’une vendange saine et de qualité, dans une optique de préservation de l’environnement, le domaine travaille la totalité du vignoble en agriculture biologique et biodynamie. Couvrant une vingtaine d'hectares ; syrah, grenache, mourvèdre, vermentino et grenache blanc s’y expriment pleinement pour donner naissance à des vins d’exception !

Great rosés, but not only! In the heart of the Arc Valley, this property backed by Mount Aurélien extends over 130 ha, 55 of which are planted with vines. The clay-limestone soil and the very marked climate, sunny, cool at night and protected from the Mistral, are favorable to the production of very aromatic rosé wines. These represent more than 80% of production, but the estate also offers reds and whites. The three colors come in five cuvees, suitable for all occasions.

The sharp selections of an independent wine merchant. La Cave du Vigneron is a family business: in the early 2000s, the sommelier Stéphane Jaen, trained at the University of Wine in Suze-la-Rousse, took over the reins of the brand created by his father in 1978. It now has three addresses in and around Aix. Qualified wine merchants are there to serve as guides in the 2,000 references of wines, champagnes, spirits or beers offered in stores.

The land steeped in history. At the XIII^E In the 19th century, Montaurone Castle was part of a Templar commandery. Forest of oaks, poplars, elms, springs and meadows cover this beautiful family estate established on a limestone plateau at an altitude of 200 m, crossed by the Touloubre river. The vineyard, certified organic since 2016, extends over 91 ha belonging to the Decamps family, owner-harvester for over 40 years. The estate also has 2,200 olive trees on 8 ha, also grown organically.

The ambiance. Summer and winter, for an afterwork or an evening with friends, it is good to meet up in this cozy bar that looks like an Irish pub. The beer cellar has no less than 120 bottles and 15 others on tap, as well as wines, spirits, cocktails and soft drinks, with optional gourmet platters to share. Concerts, karaoke, blind tests and other festive evenings punctuate the week. For all gay lads aged 0 to 90!

Sylvain Hoesch rejoint le domaine après ses études d’œnologie, fort de sa solide expérience dans des domaines de renommée à l'étranger. Il gère aujourd'hui le vignoble avec autant de rigueur et d’exigences qualitatives que son père. « Qualité et non quantité» est un principe fondamental du domaine. Le vignoble est travaillé suivant les principes de l'agriculture biologique. Tous ces éléments, ajoutés au microclimat particulier et à la richesse du sol, participe à l'élaboration de cuvées d'exception. Le domaine produit également une huile d'olive de qualité.

The retro and sustainable pleasure of an old-fashioned drugstore. In this pretty shop in the center of Aix, Marine the ex-chemist offers all the classics of yesteryear for a healthy home: household, hygiene and care products, accessories, kitchen utensils and even decorative items. All are selected from a perspective of sustainable development, with ethical manufacturing and origins from Provence or France, sometimes from Europe. Some are available in bulk. Top quality face, body and hair treatments! L'Occitane recipes, rooted in the Mediterranean lifestyle, are developed according to the principles of phytotherapy and aromatherapy. Immortal, almond, cedar, lavender, verbena...: more than 45 years after its creation, the small local company that has become an international adventure continues to make its honey from the most beautiful southern plants. It is here in its original cradle: it was in Provence that Olivier Baussan, the founder, started distilling essential oils in 1976. One of the two factories is located in Manosque, just 40 minutes from the Aix store.
