Bistronomic pleasure with a view, and what a view! The Bistrot Lumière is one of the restaurants at the 5* Thalazur Bandol-Île Rousse hotel, which itself borders the clear waters of Rènecros Bay. Executive chef Martin Féragus, who went through beautiful houses before joining this prestigious stage in the Var region, interprets French and Mediterranean cuisine with an unbeatable quality-price ratio. A beautiful and good escape that is well worth the trip!

The bistro spirit in the heart of the village. Elsa and Alexandre met at the Domaine de Manville, in Baux-de-Provence. She was training in sommelier — a retraining —, he was in charge of the bistro. Together, in April 2025, they opened this restaurant in the heart of old Saint-Rémy, calling on their friend Riccardo, second in the Michelin-starred restaurant in Manville, for the cuisine. Its Italian origin colors the Provençal and Mediterranean menu of Envies. Needless to say that the products are fresh and in season: that goes without saying!

La dolce vita between Provence and Italy. This splendid 5* hotel was born from an 18th century country house in Aix^E century which, renovated, has taken on the appearance of a Florentine palace with its Baroque decor, its green Renaissance garden and its pond-like swimming pool. La Taula Gallici, a gourmet restaurant open all year round, is a sure bet. From June to September, the ephemeral restaurant La Dolce Serata, located on the terrace, plays the dolce vita and Italian cuisine card. The crazy charm of an 18th century building^E century, located in a 2 ha park surrounded by vineyards and transformed into a charming inn under the auspices of Alain Ducasse. Le savoir-faire Après sept années passées au côté de Ludovic Turac chez Une Table au Sud, dont trois en tant que sous-chef, et un passage éclair à Top Chef 2019, Fanny (surnommée Favouille depuis toujours) ouvre en octobre 2020 son propre restaurant. Elle fait appel aux producteurs locaux pour nous concocter le meilleur : Marco le pêcheur pour le poulpe, les oursins ou les daurades, Cécile pour les légumes, viandes label rouge… Une cuisine du marché savoureuse à l’ardoise.

L’ambiance La convivialité, le rendez-vous des amis, un accueil comme à la maison... c’est le fief d’habitués qui ne s’y trompent pas.

Le savoir-faire Stéphane Robert, artisan boucher-charcutier depuis plus de trente ans, a créé le Bœuf a la Côte il y a 16 ans dans les paturages hauts-savoyards près d'Annecy avant de rejoindre en 2011 sa provence natale et de jeter son dévolu sur la commune de Châteauneuf-le-Rouge.

Accompagné de Catherine son épouse et de leur fille Camille, ce trio familial passionné et épicurien ne propose que le meilleur à sa clientèle.

La qualité C'est le crédo de la maison : les viandes françaises sélectionnées sont soigneusement choisies, les charcuteries et tous les plats traiteur sont fait maison.

Cultivate the sin of gluttony. Ten years and a few for this artisanal chocolate factory launched in Gap, in early 2014, by Anne-Lise Signouret! Thanks to its success, the parent company has grown in Grenoble, Marseille and now Aix-en-Provence, where Anne-Lise's great-grandparents were already retailers on this same rue Mignet, in the heart of the historic center.

The sweets from the oldest calissons factory in Aix. The Brémond grocery store was founded in 1830 on Cours Mirabeau, before moving in 1986 to Rue d'Italie where the shop dedicated to sweets is still located. The range of confectionery — calissons, nougats, candied fruits, crunchy fruits and other delicacies from the South — is now combined under the historic brand “Brémond Fils”, which already covered the institution's sweets at the beginning. A second shop in Aix, rue Bédarrides, hosts a workshop for making cookies and the whole range of savory products.

Artisanal and healthy pralines. Remembering the darlings of the beaches of yesteryear that Arnaud and Céline created Monsieur Praline. Their multiple creations combine gluttony and health: significantly reduced sugar levels (only 33% of unrefined brown cane sugar) and various nuts, all without additives. After Cassis and Aix-en-Provence, it's time for Saint-Rémy, the city of Nostradamus, who we forget was one of the first authors to write about confectionery!

The summary of Provence. Extra virgin olive oil comes from 10 ha of olive trees of the Aglandau variety, planted to support the village's olive-growing heritage, which was damaged by the great frost of 1956. This Jouquard mill is also an artisanal distillery of essential oils: in terms of aromatherapy, lavender is king, but other Mediterranean plants — thyme, rosemary, immortelle... — are also transformed on site to collect their essence.

Support authentic local beekeeping. Butinarello, which means “forager” in Provençal, is the name of the honey house of Quentin and Caroline, two young beekeepers harvesting whose honey and hive products (royal jelly, propolis, fresh pollen) are organic. Their model? Pastoral beekeeping, which consists in having the hives transhumed according to the flowers and the seasons, from the Côte Bleue to the Luberon. We love raw honeys with perfect traceability: labeled “IGP Miel de Provence”, they reflect the terroirs and flora harvested by bees.

Le bio à 360 degrés. En 2020, Olivier Nasles a lancé un pôle dédié aux produits bio et locaux au sein du domaine familial de Camaïssette. Son objectif : créer un lieu de vie où cohabitent une épicerie et un espace de détente. Aux côtés des vins et des huiles d'olive du domaine, on trouve un large panel de charcuteries, fromages, légumes, épices, thés, tisanes ou bières artisanales, tous issus de l'agriculture biologique provençale.

Handcrafted quality since 1959. This brand, which has been passed on from father to son — already three generations, currently with Damien and Mégane at the helm — continues to seduce the people of Aix, and for good reason: charcuteries and small “fresh homemade” dishes are concocted with French pork and old-fashioned know-how. The quality of wines and practices of an organic estate since 1996. This human-sized property has 36 ha of vines. No less than 12 typical southern grape varieties are grown there, including rarities such as Counoise. The wines, produced in all three colors in blends or as a single varietal, are aged in stainless steel tanks, barrels, amphorae or concrete eggs, sometimes without added sulphites. A lot of personality and typicity for the whole range!

The place to live. In the heart of Luberon, this wine estate is also a multifaceted and immersive space that offers tastings, cellar visits, and a 500 m² concept store.², concerts... A desire of the founder, Paul Dubrule, pioneer of wine tourism. Organic wines, from 36 ha of vineyards, come in several ranges and colors: delicate and structured whites, balanced and fruity rosé, long-lasting reds with tight tannins. The estate also sells its organic olive oils.

Traditional wines and olive oils. On the sunny terraces and hillsides of southern Luberon, this vineyard was founded in 1998 by Louis-Michel Brémond, agricultural engineer and oenologist, within the family farm property. The vines, managed with respect for the natural environment and cultivated organically since 2008, produce wines of great finesse that fully express the land. On the oil side, 600 olive trees, mainly of the Aglandau variety, share with the vineyard the sweetness of this enchanting site.

The delights of a family estate backed by the Massif des Costes. Wines and oil have been produced there since 2005.
The former, which are regularly rewarded and awarded medals, reflect the Provençal region in all three colors. As for the oil, it is a “green fruit” made from 500 hundred-year-old olive trees, harvested by hand. The estate as a whole has been certified High Environmental Value since 2020.

Situé à Lourmarin, le vignoble de Château Fontvert, exploité par une seule et même famille huguenote depuis plus de trois siècles, a su conserver les exigences et le goût du travail soigné de sa famille fondatrice. Orienté vers la production d’une vendange saine et de qualité, dans une optique de préservation de l’environnement, le domaine travaille la totalité du vignoble en agriculture biologique et biodynamie. Couvrant une vingtaine d'hectares ; syrah, grenache, mourvèdre, vermentino et grenache blanc s’y expriment pleinement pour donner naissance à des vins d’exception !

Les sélections pointues d’un caviste indépendant. La Cave du Vigneron est une affaire de famille : au début des années 2000, le sommelier Stéphane Jaen, formé à l’Université du Vin de Suze-la-Rousse, a repris les rênes de l’enseigne créée par son père en 1978. Celle-ci compte aujourd’hui trois adresses à Aix et alentour. Des cavistes diplômés sont là pour servir de guides dans les 2 000 références de vins, champagnes, spiritueux ou bières proposés en boutique.

Combining style and ethics. NATIVES is a multi-brand store far removed from fast fashion. The selection, as sharp as it is eclectic, is the work of Jeanne, passionate about new trends and eager to participate actively in the ecological transition in fashion. La création contemporaine au cœur des vignes. Christian Le Dorze a deux passions : le vin et l’art. En 2017, il a racheté et rénové avec sa fille Victoire le Château Bonisson, à Rognes (p.94). Dans la foulée, ce grand collectionneur a lancé le Bonisson Art Center, dédié à l’art contemporain sous toutes ses formes. Dans les anciens chais, le centre occupe 300 m2, avec quatre salles ouvertes sur les jardins. Un lieu superbe où les expositions d’artistes de renommée internationale sont en accès libre !

In this pretty shop in the center of Aix, Marine the ex-chemist offers all the classics of yesteryear for a healthy home: household, hygiene and care products, accessories, kitchen utensils and even decorative items.
